TÜRMOB called for a balance between defects and sanctions in e-Defter and Berat penalties
General President of TURMOB Irfan Huseyin Yıldız argued in the supplementary publication dated October 21, 2026 that tax penalties should be determined according to the nature of the defect and the reason for the delay.
What does it mean?
Compensation for breaching the e-Defter or payload deadline due to a technical defect should not be subject to the same penalty as tax loss-causing acts; TÜRMOB wants legal regulation in this regard.
