A city hospital with 2.000 beds opened in Şanlıurfa
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu attended the opening of the new city hospital in Şanlıurfa on 3 October 2026. The minister said the hospital is the 28. city hospital in the country, and that in the last two years 2 thousand 128 physicians and 3 thousand 450 health personnel were brought to Şanlıurfa. He also announced that 16 new health facilities will be completed in Siverek, Viranşehir and Harran.
