Health Minister Memişoğlu speaks at World Bio Summit in Seul
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu attended the World Bio Summit held in Seul on 21 October 2026, 5. In his speech, he drew attention to the importance of fair access to developments in artificial intelligence in the health sector. He also announced that cooperation has begun with Samsung Medison to jointly produce Color Doppler ultrasonography devices.
What does it mean?
Turkey is starting to produce ultrasound devices together with a South Korean company. The minister also stressed that new technologies should be available so that everyone can reach treatment.
