Health Minister Memişoğlu addresses physicians at emergency medicine congress
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu spoke on 23 October 2026, 6, at the opening of the International Emergency Medicine Congress. He described emergency health workers as pioneers, and called for increased production of health technologies and ideas in the field of artificial intelligence. He said that more than 3 thousand 600 emergency service stations operate across Turkey, and that approximately 7,5-8 million people are attended by ambulance each year.
What does it mean?
Emergency teams who reach patients by ambulance were highlighted by the minister as being at the very front of the health service. The minister also called for growth in the production of software and new products in the health sector.
