The Competition Authority, the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, trained staff in competition law.
The Competition Institute organized a two-day competition law training for the Turkish Institute of Medicine and Medical Devices. The program was held on 19-20 October 2026 and the Head of the III Directorate of Control and Enforcement, Imren Kol, gave the opening speech.
What does it mean?
Competition law covers the rules to prevent companies from unfairly oppressing competitors in the market. This training was given to explain to employees of the relevant public body how these rules are applied in the field of medicine and medical devices. It does not directly bring about a new change in the daily life of the public.
