The contents of the nuclear material counting and control program for nuclear facilities have been determined
The Nuclear Regulatory Board determined the contents of the nuclear matter counting and control program to be submitted to the institution during the process of authorization of nuclear facilities by its decision of 15 October 2026.
What does it mean?
Facilities such as nuclear power plants must prepare a plan for how nuclear material will be counted and controlled before obtaining a permit. This decision formally specifies what should be included in that plan.
