Movember campaign pushes men to get early checks as new diagnoses rise 23%
During Movember, the November awareness month where men grow mustaches, officials and health experts urged men to get screened early. Professor Tommaso Cai said new diagnoses rose 23% over the last two years, to about 436 cases a year, and that early detection gives a 91% survival rate. Anvolt, an association, said it is active all year and steps up prevention days in November.
