Italy's CIPE changes Abruzzo's 2014-2020 cohesion programme and cuts its development plan funds
Italy's interministerial economic planning committee, CIPE, approved resolution no. 32/2026 on 4 August 2026. It changes a 2014-2020 complementary EU-linked cohesion programme for the Abruzzo region and, at the same time, cuts the funds available under the region's Development and Cohesion Plan for the same period.
What does it mean?
CIPE, the committee that decides how Italy's public investment money is spent, has changed how some 2014-2020 regional funds are used in Abruzzo. Money for one programme is moved and money in a separate development plan for the region is reduced at the same time.
