In the appointments of judges and prosecutors, the service points system is being moved.
The General Assembly of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors decided on 16 September 2026 that the judges and Republican prosecutors should be transferred to the system of service poani in the relocation appointments.
What does it mean?
Judges and prosecutors will be appointed according to the accumulated service points from 2027, the highest one being assigned.
Who is affected?
Tum judges and Republican prosecutors, especially those who are going to make a change of scenery.
What changes?
Once the appointments of judges and prosecutors were made with the existing methodology; now, the appointments will be based on a service-based system.
