France allocates 359 840 euros to a student alcohol research project
France's health ministry has amended a 2026 order that sets how the national addiction-fighting fund spends its money. The change allocates 359 840 euros for 2026 to the Ecole des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP) for a research project on reducing alcohol consumption among students, which may run until 2027. The order was signed on 14 October 2026 and published in the Journal officiel on 30 October 2026.
What does it mean?
The state will pay 359 840 euros from the addiction fund to a public health school. The money pays for a study on how to get students to drink less alcohol, and the study may last until 2027.
Who is affected?
Students and researchers taking part in the EHESP student alcohol-reduction study.
What changes?
The 29 May 2026 order did not include this EHESP allocation. The amendment adds it as a new paragraph X. Article 4 also changes the reference to planned spending from 2025 to 2026.
