CERT-FR warns of denial-of-service flaw in several Kaspersky products

France's cyber agency CERT-FR issued an advisory on 29 October 2026 about a flaw in several Kaspersky products that could let an attacker crash or overload them, a denial of service. Several Kaspersky Network Agent versions for Windows, plus the Security Center Administration Server, are listed as affected, each with a version below which it is vulnerable. Kaspersky's own security bulletin is the place to get the patches, which is tracked under CVE-2026-88941.

What does it mean?

Some Kaspersky security programs on Windows can be knocked offline by a specially crafted attack. Users of the affected versions should install the update from Kaspersky's bulletin to close the gap.

Who is affected?

Organizations and users running the listed older Kaspersky Network Agent, Next Expert View, Next Pro View, or Security Center versions on Windows.
