Bolat: Turkish steel sector seventh in the world, first in Europe

Speaking at the Steel Networking Summit 2026, which was organized with the support of the Union of Steel Exporters, Minister of Commerce Omar Bolat described the situation of the Turkish steel industry in 2025. According to the Minister, Turkey ranks seventh in the world with 38.1 million tons of raw steel production, first in Europe.
